My 3 little sweeties!
The very reason we went to Colorado was to spend it with family! The kids love their grandparents so very much! And they really should they have amazing grandparents! 
We spent a day with grammy. She took us downtown Grand Junction to have a hot dog. The kids thought it was the best hot dog ever!
Then we went to Fruita to do to the dinosaur museum. The kids loved this. Zach was a little scared of the large dinosaurs but the kids made him feel better.
I was also able to spend some time with my good friend from high school Teaa. Her and I have always gotten together whenever I come to Grand Junction and this year we made it a family event. Jeff had already gone home a few days before us, but the kids and I went with them up on the mountain to watch a movie under the stars. The kids had so much fun and acted like they had always known one-another. I love how kids can do that. We had a great time.
So much to see and do in Vail. Next time we think it would be awesome to do a ski trip. Maybe we could see some ***MOVIE STARS****.
We decided that we needed to have our own little "family time" while we were away. So we took the kids to Vail, CO. Such a beautiful place. The mountains were breath taking and it was so much cooler. It was definitely a highlight for all of us!
We spent the 4th of July in Grand Junction. We were able to have both of our families over to my mom's for a BBQ and games. It was a lot of fun and of course the kids loved it. One of our favorite games to play is ladder ball. Jordan is getting very good at it.
We also had a little fire and made smores. Who doesn't love that?
Uncle Chris had to leave the next day. We were all sad. But good news he is coming to Texas next week! 
We traveled to Colorado back in July to visit family and have a little summer vacation. Zach enjoyed his very own seat for the first time (cant say we enjoyed paying for it). He did so good watched Star Wars the whole time and the flight attendant complimented us on our excellent children.
The kids had a great time with everyone. They especially loved the hammock that grammy and papa had put up. Whenever we were at their house you could be sure to find Elena in it!
Uncle Chris came for a visit from Fort Collins. My kids love my brother! He is so sweet to them and they love to just sit and be near him. Zach wasn't so sure at first, since he didn't remember him all that well, but he warmed up quick.
